I should have probably said Chicken and vegetables from the Chinese place. But i'm racist, so...

It was pretty much just chicken, vegetables, some kind of light sauce, and white rice.

Pan fried a ribeye steak, basting it with some butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme. While it rested I used the same pan and improvised a quick creamy mushroom and black pepper sauce. Topped the steak with the sauce and served with white rice. Fuck, what a home run. One of the best meals I've made in a while, very rich and decadent but low effort. It did feel like more of a dinner thing, so I'll experiment with this for a date night. Maybe make some mashed potatoes and pair it with a nice Malbec.
