The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Any restaurant recommendations for Chicago? I did my homework, but I'd take suggestions.
where in chicago will you be? what kind of food to do you want? what is your price point? attire? large groups? solo?
I'm staying near the Loop. Any. Any. Casual. Solo.
get the kobe burger at rockit bar and grill on hubbard. when else are you going to pay $20 for a burger unless it's on the company dime?
This is not a menu item. Did you mean Angus?
The waitress knew what you meant. It's been ordered.
The place loses points for homemade ketchup. Just buy Heinz. The burger was top notch.
sorry, it's the waygu beef burger - the rockit burger. is that what you got, with the brie on red onion brioche?
Yes. It was solid. I can see why you recommended it. I'm currently at Shaw's.
nice, shaw's is solid. there's a good pub near there called public house. lots of tvs with sports on and beer taps at the tables, if you're looking to extend your evening.

you should meet him out and show him the ropes
i should, but i need to rest up for the eddie/who thing tomorrow night.
I tried the Sourdough Pancakes, bacon and hashbrowns. I didn't notice much of a taste difference with the sourdough. The hashbrowns looked like a big thratch of pubes, but tasted very good.

there was a place virtually right across the street from the little goat called JP Graziano's (an Italian deli). They have probably the best truly authentic Italian subs in Chicago. Spectacular.

you should try the santullo at santullo's in wicker park; best italian sammy i've ever had. maybe the best sammy i've ever had, period.
This was probably the best meal of the trip. I had the filet, mac & cheese and Havana Dream desert. It was the best Mac & Cheese I've ever had. I was surprised an upscale place even had it. The desert was very good too.
