What about snack foods? Last time I was there, there was a popcorn place across the street from my hotel that had a line down the block. I'm not into gourmet popcorn, but are there any must try snacky places?

Never mind. I just wanted to make sure that the world's best cupcake, funnel cake, etc. wasn't just around the corner.

Places we'll be trying to hit in Seattle this week:

Salare for brunch: http://salarerestaurant.com/brunch

Hot Cakes for sugar/inspiration: http://www.seriouseats.com/2014/05/we-t ... attle.html

Oysters and beer at Taylor Shellfish is a tradition: http://www.taylormelrose.com/

Nue is one of my favorite restaurant experiences in recent memory, hoping to make it back this time: http://www.nueseattle.com/menu/

Taking a break from our go-to Top Pot, and trying the donuts at General Porpoise instead: https://www.eatseacreatures.com/project ... l-porpoise

The chef at Sushi Kashiba trained under Jiro Ono: http://sushikashiba.com/

And this Plate of Nations deal looks intriguing, given the lack of ethnic food in MT: https://www.thestranger.com/events/2368 ... of-nations

Seattle grub was excellent. Today we are off to Asheville, NC, then Nashville, TN. We've got some places lined up, but recommendations are always appreciated.
