Where did you land? I would have sent you to one of the many neighborhoods that are a quick $9 Uber ride away from downtown. Except for the stretch of good bars on one square block within the light rail and the new and trendy spots popping up near Minute Maid and the convention center, downtown Houston has always been a ghost town after rush hour.
