I've said a long goodbye to coffee over the last year or two thanks to the seemingly endless options in the tea aisle. Among many other benefits, tea lifts me gently while coffee just jacks me up. Currently enjoying some bags of sencha/matcha blend from a box, but I think I'm ready to dive further into loose leaf options. Will the resident RM tea masters share all that you know about buying and brewing the prized leaf?

I’m too dependent on coffee and espresso for my caffeine, but I do enjoy an afternoon or evening herbal tea. Been cycling between lemongrass and sage recently. Also have some lavender I haven’t used in a while.

I pegged you for a stinging nettle guy.

TBH I haven't fully embraced straight herbal tea. Don't you miss the caffeine in the afternoon?

I save my stinging nettles for RM.

I’ve followed my “no caffeine after noon” rule for years. A nice, warm herbal tea in the evening calms the nerves. Jasmine tea lends itself particularly well to moments of repose.

Yeah, I buy this green/jasmine blend sometimes. Love the aroma. Jasmine always reminds me of walking through my old neighborhood before the summer heat would hit.
