What kind of cheap whisky do you recommend I mix with diet caffeine free coke for my weekend fix?

Beam, Black or Evan Williams

I prefer Evan Williams to Jack.

100%. I’m a poor ass teacher. I love Evan Williams. It is easily the best value whiskey out there.

i may or may not have told this story here before..I had an empty bottle of pappy and I filled it with evan williams and set it out at a dinner party..people went nuts for it and I never told them..

The single barrel Evan Williams is pretty good and about 25 bucks

The 1783 isn’t bad either.

In the heaven hill range though If you like wheated bourbon (I do)

Larceny is cheap (24 1L) Relatively high proof (92) and smooth enough to gulp neat.

At the moment I’m enjoying Old Forester 100.

Most of the really expensive stuff I have to find at bars these days and I don’t get out much anymore.

Not yet, I've been looking at the green 10 year old bonded variety.

Friend of mine from high school up in PA runs a "picking" business in rural areas up there. She found these and is sending me one.

Haven't decided yet, but come September, it will be full of fresh okra to fry up, you can count on that.

What of the whisky Doug?

I've had the Alabama style but never the bourbon. Did you like it?
