I've never really been able to get into rhubarb. Which I think is some kind of sin since I come from Wisconsin.

it's like a sour celeri with huge (non-edible) leaves. it needs sugar to be palatable. we have a few tillers in our backyard - we cut the branches, slice them in half-inches bits and put them in ziplocks directly into the freezer for further use. when i was a kid, we used to eat it raw by just dipping the tip of the branches in white sugar.
