My best friend is Indian. His parents had a get together this weekend and my wife and I, along with his wife, were the only white people there. When I saw some of the Indian men there eating and sweating, I knew I was in for it. The food was all really good (all vegetarian) but I've never sweated so much in my life. That was some hot sh*t.

I am now scared to go to the bathroom.

There's an amazing Indian buffet near me. Man I love that place.

Same here. But the home cooked meals I get from my friend's mom I'll take any day over restaurant food, Indian or Thai.

Pretty much all curry is delicious. My favorite Indian/Pakistani ones are saag, the kormas, and the tomato-based ones like aloo mattar. Biryani is also amazing if you really like rice.

Tandoori chicken with spinach and cheese is one of life's great pleasures.

my mid-life crisis fantasy is to quit the workaday world and be an understudy at an indian restaurant, in order to open my own

Sometimes I think palak paneer is the single greatest dish ever created

My best friend is Indian as well. We met while stationed at the same Air Force base. The first time I ever tried Indian food was when we visited his brother in Boston for the holidays. I can't remember what we ate, but I do know it didn't take long to run right through me. I still loved it. We also visited family he has in St. Louis, and his aunts would always make us chai, poppadom, and give us all kinds of sweets, which are really just spicy and peppered snacks.

fuck, now I want some tandoori chicken.

Sadly, while still friends, I'm not close with that guy any more, so we aren't best friends I guess. Not sure I have a "best" friend at this point in my life
