I bet you could use zucchini to aub for chayote and be good. Is fish sauce something you can get easily in Bozeman?

I have also heard of people using papaya but I've never tried that.

i've got fish sauce, no problem there. Papaya in winter is more doubtful. The co-op has it often, but it's not always very ripe.

Broth sounds good, but I'd probably have to braise the chicken. That chicken looks... sad.

I lifted that photo from an image search, but I get your point. The main takeaway about the pictured meat is that it should be bone-in.

i love stir-fried ramen noodles with egg but it's so unhealthy

so i bought soybean noodles and some shoyu ramen flavoring

going to give it a shot

the soybean noodles are great - pure fiber and protein

but they need flavor

figure if i just pound them in ramen seasoning i won't be able to tell much difference and still be able to chow down

I know it isn't the healthiest, but fried rice is quickly moving up my all time favorite foods list. I love it so much.

Nasi Goreng is probably my favorite dish of all time, but I can't be arsed making fried rice.

My stir-fry game is coming along nicely, though. Chinese all the way on that front.
