Went to 4 breweries today, 3 of which I had never been to before.
Goldwater (Scottsdale) || Hazy IPA (pictured), Brown Ale, single-hop Lager || all 10 oz
Mother Bunch (downtown PHX) || Boysenberry Sour (pictured), Cherry Porter, Pilsner || all 10 oz
Helton (central PHX) || West Coast IPA (pictured), Hazy IPA, Scotch Ale || all 10 oz
AZ Wilderness (in my hood) || 3 more sours || pints
Not pictured because I was so hammered I could barely use my limbs.

Boulevard's Jam Band is decent, I guess.
A not as tasty version of Founders Rubaeus.

Four Hands Dakine Tropical IPA
A refreshing pineapple IPA. Perfect end cap to a hot day.

Boulevard is utterly average.

They have some good brews, but they've spread themselves too wide over the last decade or so. Kind of lost the plot.

My co-workers from KC seem to think it's the nectar of the gods.

I’ve just never been really impressed with anything from Boulevard. I also don’t remember ever having anything I thought was terrible. I can’t understand anyone that thinks they are the “nectar of the gods”. That ludicrous.

It's a regional thing. If you grow up drinking it you may be more partial to it. I have several friends from St Louis who think Budweiser is legitimately good.

Shrug. I’ve got plenty of local beer around me that I think is average at best. Those Budweiser friends of yours are only fooling themselves. Lolz

My days of supporting local breweries just cause they are local are kinda gone know.
You kinda have to nail down at least two good beers at opening to survive here nowadays.
