I'm looking forward to the upcoming eventual clear liquor trend so maybe Brown Liquor prices will come back down some.

Mijo Triple IPA from 12 West. Solid. Super dense, but has an easy finish.

I've been drinking some really light radlers, like 2% alcohol. The best so far has been Amstels.

While I was on vacation in Greece I came across this for the first time
It's and IPA called Pikri, it was pretty good but for some reason they put sugar in it and that gave it a weird sweetness. The brewery also had a regular Pale Ale called Kirki, it had sugar in it too but for some reason it didn't stand out as much and I enjoyed it more.
My usual cheap beer in Greece is Alfa, a mass produced lager
there's also this red ale i enjoy now and again when it's on the menu

I had this blonde stout last weekend. While it was super delicious, it was strange every time I lifted my glass to my mouth. My eyes told me I was about to taste a wheat beer/pale ale, etc. but then my mouth said "nope, it is a stout!"

That is weird.

If I had closed my eyes and not seen it, I would have said "this is a pretty damn good stout". But seeing it a different clarity/density made it awkward.

I'm intrigued. If I ever come across one I will definitely try it.

I've had a couple of light colored stouts like that. Stone made one a couple of years ago. It's a strange sensation.

How do they get the same taste without the dark roasted malt? I'm very confused.
