My specialty.
Nothing makes me feel like a full-grown adult like dipping my grilled cheese sandwich in a little ketchup.

Dipping in ketchup? Jesus christ

You guys are telling me that if you're just eating a grilled cheese, without tomato soup, you're not dipping that bad boy in anything? Just plain cheese and bread?

we aren't using kraft singles either bro

Yes. Just cheese and bread. Why do you have to dip it in anything? They’re not breadsticks.

Speak for yourself. Nothing melts as well as American cheese.

I don’t have a single ingredient to make a grilled cheese, but if I did I’d do it for lunch

Pro tip: a light spread of mayo on the outside of the bread instead of butter or something else provides the best goldening agent for the sandwich.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is an unbeatable combo. I don’t judge Farmer John for the keychup choice, though. Sometimes you’ve just gotta dip.

Slightly off topic, but Frankie’s in Brooklyn used to do this sandwich that was simply ementhaler cheese, thick butter, and sharp mustard on a country bread that was to die for. It was not grilled, actually chilled, and the butter was still kind of hard. Amazing.

I'm just talking a tiny little dollop of ketchup on the plate to dip the corner of the sandwich in. I'm not a monster!
But, yes. If tomato soup is an option, that's the way to go.

Eh, I’ve tried this. Butter is better.

Very true, but American cheese exists outside of Kraft singles.
