Build your salad by selecting up to seven options from above. I realize that most normal, sane people put some sort of dressing on salads (including olive oil, lemon juice, and/or vinegar), so I'm not including them among the options. I think I've covered must items. If you say "other," explain your work. Let's get weird.

Mine:

red leaf
spinach
chicken or sardines
green olives
onion
tomato
cucumber

people that put fruit in their salads with savory items are freaks

I like Spike's, but I wouldn't oppose adding (red) onion, bell pepper, carrot. Maybe even a bean or 3. But they seem like a waste of an option if we're only allowed 7.

Going a different route, broccoli salad w/smoked salmon or bacon is bomb.

My typical go-to is:

Lettuce
Tomato
Croutons (garlic and butter)
Mini cucumbers
Green and Yellow peppers
Onion
Salt & Pepper
Rotating protein (hard boiled eggs, tuna, cold cuts)
Non fat Feta cheese

Lite Creamy Ceasar dressing

I’d add more probably, but wanted to get in the top 7 yeah.
