Anyone else a cheese lover? I spent way too much on some Humboldt Fog yesterday, but was worth it today when combined with an heirloom tomato and some sea salt. |

The inlaws always bring us back cheese when they go to their place in France. This time it was mimolette and Comte I also have some cambozola and manchego which I got from the supermarket, and it's pretty good stuff. We'll eat it with grapes, or maybe some quince paste and some really good bread. |

I would consider cheese its own food group, adore it. The wife and I finally visited a cheese farm in state a few months ago, amazing offerings. We picked up 1/3 lb of three varieties the first time and ~ 1/4 lb of four the last. Don't want to buy too much especially the pungent ones. Their blue is simply incredible and was a terrific top to a fresh burger. At the supermarket I tend to only purchase ricotta, which is made the next town over. |
