doug, where do you stand on bologna sandwiches?

was always a fan as a kid...i think we all have memories of them at lunch time.

I have not had one in quite some time but i still buy mortadella about once a month.i wish a lot of it was not 99 cents for a pound in some grocery stores

you should have a bologna sandwich soon

And put peanut butter on it.

yellow mustard and potato chips are the best

when do you think the last time was that you ate one like that? for me it was december 31, 1999. i remember we had to take one food from our childhood and recreate it that day for dinner. i was hungover and ran out of time, and so that's what i had.

Yellow mustard and potato chips are best on many sandwiches.

the guy uses kraft singles on white bread and passes it off as a grilled cheese but won't eat turkey.

Here's the thing about doug that I've learned over the years. Although doug's tastes are discerning and impeccable, doug is not one to take the whims, trends, and conventional wisdom of the day seriously, especially when it flies in the face of common sense, economic sense, or general enjoyment of a good thing. doug is the no nonsense anti-foodie we all need to listen to more closely in the time of avocado toast and the $9 banh mi.

Where are you finding banh mi for $9?! Between NYC and MT, I'd say that's like a $13 sandwich.
