How do you do it? I don't want to purchase anything, I just want a practical homegrown solution. I cook, I plate, life happens. 20 minutes later there's finally an opportunity to eat but the food is never at ideal temp.

Part of learning to cook well is everything being done/kept warm within ~ 5 minutes of each other. It has become a MAJOR part of my cooking calculus.

I recommend breaking up yer recipes by cooking time and figuring out what you can do consecutively/concurrently to achieve this goal.

Note: I am still not great at it.
