We've been having family picnics on the tailgate of our car after pickup orders lately just to mix it up. I can only eat so many meals at the dining room table. |

Wow...that hit surprisingly hard. Yeah, the dining room table has always been like the center of my life, but ever since the pandemic started its begin to feel like a stale fart |

Quote: Order Online and we’ll have your order waiting for you 20 minutes later. If you don’t do online, call us at 919.942.1133 to place your order. So, I put the order in on-line and was given a 50 minute timeframe. Not a big deal, but figure I'll call just to be sure my food doesn't sit around for 30 minutes while I wait. Phone number goes straight to a full mailbox. I've been getting takeout at this place for a decade. It's not like they're new to this. Is this because I'm a cop? |

Last week, my wife and I discussed possibly going in-store for groceries. Now cases are surging again so I bet that doesn't happen. |

Curbside was perfect early days. No traffic, plenty of parking lane to pull into. Then things opened up more and it began to resemble the big city hustle and bustle a bit more, so we shifted toward delivery again for convenience. Now Chicago Mag came out with their top ten sandwiches, so thinking we may use that as an excuse for some low risk curbside/carry out trips out and about to stave off cabin fever. |

We mapped out our route based on our list and it was pretty stress free except for when we got to the cashier line. I like that the sense of urgency kept us from impulse buying needless things. |

I fear I have over simplified my overall grocery strategy and situation by touting the beautifully efficient business model of Aldi on this board. |
