my wife wanted birria from this one place on doordash, but they don't have much selection beyond that - and once she's zeroed in on birria there's no other option. so i ordered that for her, then ordered a burrito from a different place. felt kinda indulgent, but really just meant two driver tips instead of one.

I would never trust delivery for birria. It’s a sliding scale from “lukewarm birria with congealed cheese” to “who diarrhead in my to-go box”

Hence why I avoided it.

Meh we had a rice cooker years ago, but it’s another gadget taking up valuable cupboard space. Rice is easy to make in a regular pot.

When you get food delivered, you just toss it straight into the fridge for another time and cook a different meal, huh?

You say this like you expect us to eat the food immediately.

Why would you put it in the fridge while waiting for your rice to cook? Good God, man.

I hope the rat bastards who stiffed Spike on rice know how much pain and suffering they've caused.
