I have a pecan tree in my front yard, actually.

I usually buy mesquite or hickory, but it's time for a change.

If you can get your hands on pear tree wood it’s great. I can’t here but living in Yakima with all the orchards, it was abundant.

If connecting to natural gas is anywhere in the realm of possibility at your house, do it. Game changer.

Nah, my deck sits atop one of our building’s garages. So while doable, I’d have to get HOA approval as it’s a common element. Not worth it.
