Ribeye came out very good. A bit over cooked; I hit it a little hard with the temp, so it wound up med/med-well, and I’m more of an med-rare guy. But incredibly easy and the steak was a local grass fed. That plus salad, fries, and fake beer, all while able to pay attention to my kid. I love my Weber gas grill.

I got something like this for my buddy’s wedding gift like 15 years ago. His condo at the time had a Juliet balcony and a rule preventing grills. I thought this was perfect.

Sounds awesome.
What type of insta-read thermometer do you use?
I’ve got every food thermometer under the sun but if I’m grilling I’m just using the analog probe thermometer. It helps that the built-in Weber thermometer seems to be accurate and temp response from the three burners is fast and agile.

spent a good 90 minutes this afternoon cleaning the big green egg..we have decided to have the parts that are needed to be replaced instead of getting a new one..we will be gone before all of this happens but the house guests are fine with overseeing it..
