That’s a great price!

yeah because all i need is the egg..i have everything else,,i just hope they'll take away the old one if i do get a new one

Do you have room to keep it as back up, in case you want to smoke a ton of meat for a party?

there is room but my wife may have something to say about that...still trying to convince her into letting me also get the smallest of the blackstone flat tops and she just gives me the look...my neighbor would probably take it but checking with the bbq store guys first if they'll take it and maybe take some $$ off the price of a new one

If they do and the hinges are only $70, seems like it would be a good deal for them to take your old one if you get a new one.

I’m trying to give you the happiness of saving hundreds of dollars!

It’d be cheaper for you to fly me out to help you fix the egg, than buy a new one. Then we could smoke a brisket together and drink brown liquor.

I’ll bring the socket wrench… I’m getting the vibe that Doug doesn’t own any tools.

Money doesn’t mean the same to Doug as it does normal people.

I’m no doctor, Ruddo, but you probably shouldn’t eat that much bacon

$299 just to show up
$399 to repair/2 man job
my cost of the new hinges...

Bought a Weber Spirit II E-310. Did a ton of research. Lots of new gimmicks out there that look cool in theory, but users say stop working for one reason or another. Wanted something dependable and with a comprehensive warranty and this is where I wound up.

I’ll no old onto my charcoal grill for a bit but probably swap that out for a smoker down the line.

I feel like it is just some nuts and bolts. Couldn't you just change them yourself?
