I grew up in the pizza snob capital of the world my friend and still reside here, so clearly a product of my surroundings.

I'm glad I grew up in a place where I can have a really wide appreciation for both. Obviously, fresh pizza wins. That's not even a question. But I do still find great comfort (from time to time) in a good frozen pizza. It'll always be a part of me.

Those $.99 Totino’s still have a special place in my belly.

As a frozen pizza connoisseur I also have a special place in my heart for shitty fantastic Totino's.

I haven’t had a Totinos since college. Some things should just remain in that time capsule. But the best way I found to eat a Totinos back then was to take it out the oven about halfway through... when it’s in the soft stage between frozen and crispy. Roll it up like a burrito, stick a skewer through it to hold it in place, then cook it the rest of the time to get it crispy. I called it a Burrtino.
