I could go for some Gus's with a side of okra right now but I'm stuck at work and I don't think they deliver.

This place will more than do. Doug, they also have a few locations in LA.

I ate at Gus's the first night I was in Austin last month.

Nice. Did you keep your plastic cup? I find that they are great for drinking water around the house.

oh, i love gus's..the one in LA is just far enough that i rarely go..i think i have about 6 cups at home

no, but the guy that waited on me (I sat at the counter) recommended my whole meal to me and gave me a free tshirt before I left.

the South Bay area of LA where I live is seriously lacking in good fried chicken..I refuse to go downtown for it..we have 25 poke joints within 2 miles though... :gomez:

Yes. That place was a regular eatery for me when I lived there.
