I tried the Wendy's chicken biscuit. It's smaller than most chains' breakfast biscuit. The chicken is not a processed patty and the biscuit it soft, not hard and crunchy like some places. It's billed as a honey butter chicken biscuit and the honey butter is added like a sauce. It makes the biscuit sticky and does not add to the taste; a honey butter biscuit or chicken biscuit would be perfectly fine on their own but not combined. It's way better than McDonalds chicken biscuit but I still prefer ChickFilA for my morning biscuit. Wendys does have breakfast potatoes, or home fries. They are quite tasty but I like any form of potatoes baked, fried, or roasted. Hardees has good biscuits too but we don't have one near us.

The only Hardees in the Atlanta area I know of are on the outer edges of the suburbs away from the city. And yes, Hardees & Carl Jr were owned by the same company (Carl Jr bought Hardees) but I think there are some minor menu differences. They split back into separate chains in 2018.
