i exercised 642 different ways today, all day, and to quell my racing metabolism and associated urge to commit crime without regret, this is how i solved my 'what should i eat for dinner' dilemma:

i ate all of them:

corona extra

aforementioned spaghetti

2 burritos with a home made filling consisting of: organic ground beef, garlic, onions, yellow peppers, black beans, fajita seasoning, jack and cheddar cheese blend

sesame bagel with cream cheese

stella artois

what's next? i don't fucking know but it's going in my belly

Foie gras: yay or nay?

I've done a 180 on this. While absolutely delicious (particularly chilled; people who sear it or otherwise heat it are crazy and wrong), I just don't think the means of production are ethically sound. There are lots of other rich, fatty things that taste amazing and don't cause undue stress to an animal.

Yay with a bullet. I don’t really give a fuck about “ethical” treatment of food animals, TBH. We are killing and eating them. Everything else is just bullshit to make ourselves feel better.

Yep. 100%. This ties into what I was saying in the other thread. There is no ethical or non-violent way to kill a living thing. So fuck it. In for a penny, in for a pound. I goddamn love foie gras and I'll eat it all day every day.

I’ve never had it, but I have no problems with it.

And yes, trag, I do.

Yep.

but then can you see the disconnect in your argument? There's a world of difference between, say, rotational grazing of cattle on their natural grass diet, and force-feeding a goose with a pipe stuffed down its throat a food that is not natural to its diet, and in volumes beyond its comfort level
