For me, it’s a tie.

- sautéing garlic in olive oil
- baking bread, usually around the 25-minute mark (Reid would appreciate that)

That bread smell is second only to the popping sound the crust makes for the first half hour it's out of the oven.

-chili that's been simmering while you've been outside doing chores on a cold day
-pan fried lumpia
-citrus peeled with a channel knife for cocktails while cooking
