I had “tavern style” ribs tonight. They were boiled with a very mild sauce, but somehow still oddly satisfying. Super tender and falling off the bone, zero rub, and the sauce was like a slightly more vinegary ketchup. I’m not even sure this post belongs in this thread. |

We’ve tried a couple times but it’s always a long wait. Took advantage of them doing delivery now during the pandemic, as I don’t recall that being an option previously. |

The Saturday college football bar scene is immense. I went out for a night in Chicago while in the area for the UW/Michigan game. I think it was 2002. Anyway I was in my early 20’s. Great bar scene as I recall and I’m not sure what district we went to but I’m pretty sure it was smack in the middle of the city or probably near Lincoln Park. I dunno, big city. Anyway one place was serving $1 beers. Edit: It was fratty AF. |
