We were out running errands this morning and needed groceries. We were also getting pretty hungry and didn't want to shop for food on empty stomachs, because we all know how that goes. Anyway, we ducked into a Mexican steakhouse that also does brunch. I had chilaquiles w carnitas and salsa verde; my wife had egg and Mexican cheese enchiladas with a poblano cream sauce. Everything was delicious and portiined generously. We'll definitely be back.

what % tip did you leave?

Just a shade under 20% of the total bill, but we had drinks, so that's okay.

i can't wait to dine with you there one day

We did both comment it'd be a nice place to take visitors.

no, he only ventures into the city for work.

i rarely have time for lunch these days :(
