No, but the one here shares a parking lot with a more traditional Filipino food place as well as a small Asian grocery store. You can lumpia at two out of the three places in that shopping strip.

We have a pretty solid Asian market here where I can get some decent frozen lumpia

It's not hard to make it yourself. Ever try?

Yeah I dabbled a few years ago. I don't know what happened to that desire, though

How funny. I think I'll try this on Sunday when I go back to Seattle, but this time take some cash with me in case the machines are down again.

Never tried it, but I’ll make a point next time we go. I always go for the Aloha burger and mango pie. My wife loves the halo halo.

The Aloha burger is probably the closest I’ll ever get to tasting the fictional Big Kahuna burger I’ve craved since ‘94.

oh man, i've walked right by this place before. it was an absolute zoo. it's inside the seafood city filipino market on the northside of town; we went there last year out of curiosity.

Is it actually good? The people I worked with said it was always popular but when they finally went it was just deserts.

The food is tasty. It's not all "just desserts." Nothing is mind-blowing there, but the menu is varied and creative compared to other fast food. The atmosphere really is joyous and jolly. It's hard not to enjoy yourself when you go in.
