it was the cause of a lot of migraines for me when i was working - or the trigger for them. the heavy stress combined with not eating soon enough would start them. i've done some stupid things in that state. i try eat more regularly now but without a schedule it's difficult.

I did the same thing all through high school. I literally ate dinner and nothing else. I figured it was probably bad when it got to the point when I actually passed out.

i've never eaten this cereal. In fact, rarely do I eat cereal these days. If so, I find myself reaching for the Kashi Whole Grain Honey sunshine cereal.

I may be lenient in other forums, but I WILL NOT stand by and watch spinoffs ruin my Food Forum. Good day!

I am struggling to not make more and more elaborate breakfasts every day. Today I had a Cara Cara orange, bacon, eggs scrambled with spinach, mushrooms and Jack cheese, and half an avocado, and I still sat around deciding if I should make toast or not. It's getting pretty ridiculous.

Just smoked salmon? No crackers or bagel to put it on?

Pfff, I've been doing this for years. Still, glad to see savory oatmeal getting some press:

Gotta say, nothing beats a good sourdough pancake. Not restaurant from a box crap, home starter sourdough style

I've never done my own starter (sourdough, kombucha, or other). I should give this whirl...How long does a starter take to cultivate?

Relatively quick but the true flavor comes out as its aged and fed.... My mom did it when j was young and awhile back passed in her book and crock jar to my wife.
I think doug does it too

Thanks. I am all over this -- will research more this week and commence experimenting soon. You use the same starter for pancakes that you would use for bread?
