Man. The quinoa breakfast bowl at Snooze might be breakfast perfection.

The grain is cooked in ham broth and topped with carrots, greens, crispy prosciutto, tomato chutney and an egg.

Hearty enough to get you started, the ham broth and chutney give you plenty of flavor, and it's easy to eat with one hand at the bar while reading with the other. Everything you need in a breakfast menu item.

Listen, Reid, I love you. And I enjoy quinoa. But I can not endorse the idea that any variety of quinoa breakfast bowl can possible be "breakfast perfection." If you're gonna bother with breakfast at all, you should bother with better than quinoa.

You're right. Faro would be even better.

So much less expensive than Snooze. Breakfast bowl today with quinoa, arugula, feta and fried egg. Side of blueberries.

i have made the following breakfast probably 325 out of the last 365 days:

two or three scrambled eggs, whisked with 1/4 cup cottage cheese, topped with chipotle tabasco after they're scrambled
one english muffin + 2oz sliced turkey
1/2 avocado, some spread on the muffin and the rest just topped on the eggs
handful of fresh spinach added to the eggs while they scramble
1/4 cup fresh blueberries

usually eat at about 7:00 and have absolutely no urge to eat anything again until like 1:00
