sunflower seeds sound like a nice addition. i think i might pick some up and try it.

I like the crunch and hint of saltiness they add.

during the week, I use Millville Quick Oats from Aldi. weekends are for Old Fashioned Oats, also Millville, or steel cut from Trader Joe's.

You cook it every day? Or do a big batch in the crock pot and eat it all week? I’m a crock pot guy.

i make it on the stovetop every day. i've had thoughts about doing overnight oats in the instant pot, but those thoughts fade fast.

Uncooked overnight oats is where it’s at, by far my fave

yeah, i just realized i don't know what the hell i'm talking about. i didn't realize overnight oats were served cold. i know i've heard of people letting steel cut oats sit over night, and then heating them up.

maybe i'll try overnight sometime.

Publix and Wal-Mart (leave me alone). I'm just not near the Aldi's around here very often.

I actually rarely go to Wal-Mart these days, but their Great Value oatmeal is way better than Kroger's brand.

Publix is mostly in the southern states, yeah? Is it considered fancypants?

I wouldn't say fancy. It's no Whole Foods or Piggly Wiggly at least.
