I know I've said it before, but if you love Aldi, you'll really love Lidl. We just got two here in town. Same concept as Lidl but a little better selection.

Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

I thought Aldi and Lidl were the same company
I thought someone left one and started the other because of a fight they had

i legit didn't know that. i knew that they didn't have fresh seafood or meat, but for some reason i thought they had a deli counter.
honestly, the reason i go to whole foods is because it's one-stop shopping for me. they get enough foot traffic where i can trust the seafood because of the high volume turnover. i like the organic offerings (in produce and poultry), and they offer more and more name brand stuff. while it's definitely more expensive than regular grocer shelf staples (which we usually get once a month from Target), i put more of premium on convenience. also, since amazon bought it, the prices aren't THAT much more traditional brick-and-mortars.

So what’s the perk of Trader Joe’s? Is it the prices? Or do they have unique items? I remember their produce being wrapped in plastic which I found weird, but maybe they stopped that. I’ll go check it out this weekend.
