i have never stepped foot in an aldi. i probably will never step foot in an aldi.

we have a place around here called "pete's fresh market." i love it. it's got your typical groceries, but also half the store is purely international, with a different aisle for a different culture.

pete's is solid. i thought beyond the standards it was strictly a supermercado though.

How much do you want me to tip the guy who said they would be re-stocking in May?

Went to a Sam's Club today to activate a membership given to me by a family member. It feels empty in there, despite the quantities from floor to ceiling. The whole time I was feeling pretty bad about my place in the industrial food complex but did get some good deals on raisins, almonds and summer shorts.

I think I'll stick to Aldi for pantry staples, michoacana for meat, and HEB or H-Mart for produce

Your ego-identification with locally-owned stores and farmers markets is what the Lacanian matrix wants you to do.

Run full speed into the void.

Embrace the nothingness.

Peruse your Sam’s Club with existential impunity.

Wait a second.

You would personally never

A) subscribe to lacanian theory
B) recommend following the drift of the trag wind in a thread
C) shop at a sam's club

:?:
