If you're making ground beef put some diced gold potatoes in there. Tomato paste is good to add as well. Chicken thighs cut up into chunks, marinated in adobo or another chile/garlic/lime/whatever you like for a long time and then sauteed is really good, I like dark meat since it picks up flavor like crazy and it stays more tender. If you have a gas grill, flame your tortillas ever so slightly to give them some color and then wrap them up to stay warm. Buy two or three salsas that you would eat a whole jar of. |
