We typically eat fajitas by making tacos out of the tortillas that come with them, you're not really supposed to eat them with a knife and fork. But I can understand the confusion.

I do not understand the confusion! How else would you eat them? What do you think the tortillas are for??

FWIW I ordered fajitas in France and I don't even think they came with tortillas, so this could just be the international community fucking things up.
Fair enough--we ordered a lamb vindaloo in Buenos Aires that was just a slab of meat covered in peppers, no sauce, so I know how that goes.

Yeah these had broccoli and carrots and some sort of weird sauce. I actually kinda love ordering stuff like that just to see how strangely they fuck it up.

One time we ordered mozzarella sticks and what appeared looked like three sticks of deep-fried butter with a side of ketchup.

one time in lareto, baja, we ordered the lobster special at the "resort" and it was a lobster tail with a slice of melted american cheese on it..it was like eating a sponge.. it had been way over cooked

Sounds like we just bastardize fajitas, then. Melted cheese all over the top and no tortillas on the side. You can't eat that shit with your hands!
