Also, if any actress/actor from the show "Mom" is getting nominated, it must be a terrible year for television comedy

Leftovers getting passed over while House of Cards continues to get nominated. They sure do love their movie stars.

Modern Family is still getting nominations too. You knew SNL would rake in the nominations but Leslie Jones? Allison Janney has a few Supporting Emmys for Mom so it was kind of a surprise to see her with the Leads. JLD has one five straight there. This is Us is the first network show to get a Drama nomination in a few years.

Leslie Jones getting a nomination made me chuckle. She's horrible.

Plus, no Rhea Seehorn (Kim on Better Call Saul).

And another year of people missing the boat on the other great AMC show on right now: Halt and Catch Fire.

The Handmaid's Tale should win everything. Even the things it isn't nominated for.

Big Little Lies might have been the best thing to happen on TV this year. No, Kim on Better Call Saul is the best. Then Big Little Lies. Then Halt and Catch Fire, especially the two female leads. Damn, ladies cleaned up this year.

No Carrie Coon for the Leftovers though. A true snub.

Kim was good this season but if Rhea was ever going to be nominated it would've been for season 2. She was much more on the forefront there, and showcased a lot of range.

But she got it for Fargo, so it's not really a snub, right?
