This is the blackest trailer I've ever seen and Samuel Jackson isn't in this one?

Also nice to see Andy Serkis finally getting to show his face in an Indy franchise like Marvel after whoring himself to LotR, Star Wars, and Apes.

Yup. The car stunt they kept showing reminded me of Civil War.

It could turn out to be a very fine movie, I'm just not impressed by this trailer at all.

I liked the first trailer a lot more.

Ditto. That was good, but I think it's a lot of imagery that will need to be scene to understand. I mean that one scene that looked like a lot of suspended didgeridoos? No clue what was going on there.

looks like one of their safe, minor efforts like Antman.

Marvel has definitely addressed their color palette issue.

I've watched it a few more times and this is an excellent trailer after a slight stutter at the begining. Once Martin Freeman's voiceover is done it is great. Excellent costume and set design, with the mixture of high tech and tribal influences. Some elements (like that room floating in space) that look trippy as hell. Some great little character beats. I love the handshake between the black panther (t'challa?) and his sister, which speaks volumes about their relationship in a single 2 second shot. I like the themes that they are looking to explore, especially as it ties into the historical experience of black americans, which is further punctuated by a remix of a song of incredible historical importance.

Good stuff

This trailer is meant to appeal to a different audience, I think. More of a mass audience. Which is totally fine. It just feels more generic and noisy than the previous trailer. I'm still totally excited to see this thing, though. Just prefer the first shot at selling it to me.
