Saw this last night. I enjoyed it. I don’t know anything about the canon or established universe so I’d be interested to know if the hardcore fans are on board. Cg heavy story light popcorn film. Nothing wrong with that. I’m wondering was I seeing Wayne being tired of being Batman. Or Affleck being tired of Batman? It was hard to tell.

hes an older batman. my guess is after the death of robin he has become even more jaded (hence the crack from gordon about working with others again)
my biggest problem is like you said, way to CGI intense and it felt like for a good portion of the movie i was watching the scene transitions from a fighting game on ps4. story wise it wasnt bad and while im vaguely familiar with steppenwolf as a character i think Kalibak would have been a better choice to go with
The fights with steppenwolf just seemed to repeat over and over. There wasnt any different moves or takes. That was noticeable. But it didn’t bother me.
Hey, I'm spending most of my days in the Star War sub-forum of a Pearl Jam message board defending space wizards and speculating about the next 10 years of content.
Oh I saw that article earlier. I was more (poorly) pointing out that at the time it was blamed on a suicide (!) and now it's just "yeah, he fired". Kind of shitty all round.
