Do I have to watch any other movies before watching this?
Have to? No. But it’s better if you watch other movies first, get to know the characters. It’s more or less a direct continuation from: 1. Man Of Steel 2. Batman vs Superman (Ultimate Cut is better)
It also includes Wonder Woman and Aquaman, and you can learn more about those in their standalone movies. Their movies are in the same overall story world as this one, but are only partially related narratively.

They need to stop making strategic, franchise-altering decisions based on Reddit threads and angry YouTube videos. Believe in the people you hire to drive the creative vision and stick with it.

surely this cut wouldn't have been released if the studio didn't want to continue the franchise. dependent on audience response, which has been favorable.
The campaign for #ReleaseTheSnyderCut has moved into a new phase. It’s now #RestoreTheSnyderVerse. What’s your reaction to this new campaign? I appreciate that they love Zack’s work and we are very thankful for his many contributions to DC. We’re just so happy that he could bring his cut of the “Justice League” to life because that wasn’t in the plan until about a year ago. With that comes the completion of his trilogy. We’re very happy we’ve done this, but we’re very excited about the plans we have for all the multi-dimensional DC characters that are being developed right now.
It's astonishing really. The Snyder Cut is in the discussion among the best superhero movies ever released, and still half the movies the people behind DC did release, are fairly poor, both the in the past and the present.

Ok guys very funny. you got me. A bit of an early April Fool's Day joke. I hope you all had a big laugh at my expense. I can imagine you all sitting around organizing this to trick ole Burt into thinking this was good.

I watched MoS, BvS and the snyder cut over the weekend and I really enjoyed them all. BvS was probably my favorite.
Cavill and Affleck were both really good. I wasn't sure about Affleck going in, but I really liked his take on Batman. I even liked Jared Leto's scene at the end.
It's a bummer we're not going to see the rest of this story play out. I read the synopsis from Snyder and it sounded like a pretty cool story.
The only backstory I felt was missing was Joker killing Robin. That's such a major event it would have been nice to have seen it play out (in a different movie) rather than just being alluded to.
I don't think this will lead to me getting more invested in the DCEU overall. I'd only really be interested in a continuation of this story.
