I agree with Ruddo's sentiment -- it's a tired genre. John Oliver sucks hard. But I enjoy Samantha Bee; I think her acerbic feminist approach is fresh, even if her show has the same loud music and yelling as every other show of its ilk.
I don't really understand how anyone could have a problem with Samantha Bee. She's fresh, funny, and entertaining. She's smart. I like her delivery. I like her program. I like the structure of her show. I think it's a shame she's only one one night a week. She's easily, far and away, the most interesting voice in "the game" and I'm glad she's here. I'd love to see her presence expanded. Big fan.

She's just a Daily Show clone. I see nothing fresh or interesting about her snarky liberal perspective whatsoever.
