I, for one, am actually excited about the R rating (more in line with his personality ). Looks like we might actually have a decent stand-alone Wolverine movie on the horizon!

The biggest problem the first two movies had, were the 3rd acts. The first one, crammed a lot of side figures in the first half of the movie to drive you to the climax, Wolverine vs the Weapon X facility. Which should have been Wolverine killing his way through endless guards to get to Stryker, only to have Stryker get away. Not whatever they did with Deadpool, and the whole side plot with Cyclops the kids, Gambit and Xavier (totally pointless)
The Second movie was decent, but even in the extended DVD release, the end fight scene was horrible. Yukio running over ninjas with a snow blower? and enough with Robots! I wouldnt have minded the Silver Samurai being a robot, if we hadnt already had 3 Iron Man movies out, and Age of Ultron, and Days of Future Past coming out. Again, if this moive had a great emotional 3rd act, it would have pulled up the first half of the movie.
So HOPEFULLY they finally have the 3rd act thats going to bring the whole movie up. The trailer looks great.

I noticed that the name on the light marble gravestone was washed out on all the new trailers that were released the day after the original came out. Found a still of the unedited version. Looks like it reads "Peters"

I don't know if digital-girl is what I want out of the movie. Maybe they should have gone with a slightly older actor who could do the stunts? I don't know.
I'm still confident though. Doug Benson said he saw the first 40 minutes a few weeks ago and liked it so much he would sit through the entire 40 minutes again. And he's brought it up a couple times, that's rare.

Over/under on the percentage that this is objectively the best Wolverine film?
Just against other solo films or also counting the X-Men movies? Because I see zero chance this isn't a huge improvement over the two solo Wolverine movies
