I feel pretty confident that Hugh isn't quitting Wolverine for artistic reasons. Staying in that kind of shape is too much effort at this point on his life. He's been bitching about it for years.
I feel pretty confident that we'll see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again after Logan.
I feel pretty confident that you are on to something.
I don't, I think hes done, and I definitely think its the physical toll. He still does 99% of his stunts as well. I think this is the perfect way for him to end. Now just have Cable/X-Force grab X-23 (the 12 year old girl) from this time line, put her in the yellow spandex and let her do the slashing for a number of years. 10 years from now? recast Wolverine. I COULD see Sir Patrick coming back in some fashion though. Be it a cameo in Legion, or, in a movie. (He said he was done on the Graham Norton interview, but yesterday in an interview he said he wasn't positive)

Patrick Stewart in Legion could be great...But im more interested in a X-23 movie than another wolverine one.

Totally agree on both. Id much rather see Patrick show up in Legion than McAvoy, or another actor playing Xavier.

I enjoyed this. The girl was the best part, Jackman was good. A few unintentionally funny scenes too. Patrick Stewart was mildly annoying but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the film.

Going to this today. I feel like I never go see movies anymore.
Thats sad. Im going at least once a week.
I just like watching them on my TV more now. It's bittersweet.
I know you do...and its ok. But going to the movies is a different beast. I dont even care about how cool the 4k is...fuck that. Is going to a place, sitting there and paying attention no matter what...the movie is not waiting for you, is owing you...and then movie talk in a dinner.

Oh yeah, I love the ritual of it. But they just look so much better at home.
