general consensus ranges from good to great

I think it was built up to be this epic, reflective, genre busting film a little much. It was enjoyable, but not amazing. It was still a comic book movie. A good one, but not an all-timer.

rank the comic book movies

Top 5:
Catwoman
Elektra
Daredevil
Suicide Squad
Howard the Duck

No Tank Girl?

Didn't have it at the local Redbox.

I picked up Elektra / Daredevil as a combo at target for like 5 bucks awhile ago, just watched them for the first time just a few weeks ago. Elektra was the directors cut and it was still just over a hour and a half long only? Man that movie felt like a late night B-movie on USA. Felt like I was watching Le Femme Nikita or something like that.

The whole time watching DD, I just kept thinking how awesome Michael Clarke Duncan would have been as Apocalypse. The voice, the size...

Logan was a great movie, I honestly hope Hugh stays retired, it was a good ending to his run. Let them re-cast it when the Disney deal finally gets done. Id love to see Hugh punch Downey and the rest, but fuck seeing him cracking jokes like the rest of the MCU cast.

I enjoyed it. Really well made movie. Not the greatest story.
