I’m about halfway thru Medium Raw right now. Thanks for the recommendation, Joe. I absolutely love his writing style. It’s like just sitting there listening to him tell stories. |

Trying to watch Anthony Bourdain reruns is a mess right now. Certain seasons available on different streaming channels, but no one stop shopping, nor is there a Blu-ray box set (which I would gladly plunk down cash for). Most recent I can find are selected episodes from the last few seasons of parts unknown, on the CNN app |

Oh good, I'm so glad you're reading it and enjoying it. That one, more than any other, really does feel -- as you say -- like sitting and listening to him tell stories. And what great stories! It's high time I re-read that book.

We had to watch two different episodes of parts unknown on tyo different platforms. And a third we wanted to watch required an extra $2.99 |

I think all of Parts Unknown is on HBO Max, if you have that. But, yeah, everything else is so scattered. But that's what happens when you have so many different producing partners/networks/etc. |

Nope, HBO Go — this was the original streaming service for people who had HBO from their cable provider. HBO Now is streaming only — no cable component. We use my sister’s HBO Go login that’s connected to her cable account. Each HBO service (cable/Go/Now/Max) has their own licensing deals, and it’s apparently gotten so cumbersome that they are losing the Go, and grandfathering in those Go accounts to Max accounts for no additional cost... But HBO and Roku have hey to strike a deal for a Max app, so when Go goes away next month, Roku watchers are screwed until it gets ironed out. |
