Watched "Queens" and "Antarctica". I was expecting the sadness to have faded a bit by now. Nope. They both really got to me, particularly "Queens". Bourdain's love of people was so pure. Makes me wish I were better.

Have a blast! I adore Lisbon. Any of the eps of various shows that Bourdain did in Portugal are great.

I think it was a Parts Unknown episode in Lisbon where you features a band called Dead Combo. I downloaded several of their albums to listen to while walking around Lisbon and I'd highly recommend it. I feel like Bourdain's music recs are an underrated aspect of his genius.

Some recent favorite episodes (not necessarily all time favorites, but I enjoyed them):

Sichuan with Ripert
California Desert
Cajun Mardi Gras
Uruguay (the most recent one)
French Alps
Cologne

I will have to find a quiet room alone to look through that.
