Just started re-watching some of the older PU episodes on HBO Max this week (Mexico, Bay Area, Ethiopia). Might go to a theater for this one, definitely going to fuck me up good.

Neville's a good director too, really enjoyed Won't You Be My Neighbor?

Weird/not surprising that the trailer seems largely comprised of PU footage. Pretty sure of the crew interviews are from the Under the Tarp episode.

I'm mostly hoping this will finally spur CNN/HBO to release a 4K Bluray set.

I've been straight up addicted to PU lately. Would love to see some kind of 4K or quality remaster released on Max

PU: Madagascar. One of the headier episodes. Illustrates some unfortunate truths about the human race...

I wonder what it was like for Anthony. Did he swing from optimism to pessimism so regularly?

Coincidentally I just reached the Scotland episode last night, Madagascar is next. Haven't seen it in years and can't remember how it went.

For the movie, they better have damn well included a Lanegan tune or two in the mix!

We watched Charleston after, much lighter.

I think that *maybe* Parts Unknown is surpassing SNL as my all time favorite show. Maybe.

Yeah what an insane thing to say, memes for suburban moms is not even remotely in the same league as Tony.
