Watched S2 live this season. Now watching S1 from the library, about halfway through and I have to say I much prefer the grounded storyline of S1 over the more out-there episodes of S2.

the back half of S1 is the show's peak, i think. The Club > Juneteenth > The Jacket was perfect. Loved the invisible car gag, loved Earn freaking out on the weird party hosts ("And stop being so likable! It's fucked up."), love Darius eating two blunts when the cops showed up. I wanna watch S2 again now.

Teddy Perkins is awesome, though, and I still don't dig 'Helen'. The Germans pissed me off, and the dissolving of Van and Earn's relationship was a bit too real for me.

Season 3 coming in January 2021, Season 4 in the fall of 2021. They'll be like part 1 and 2 of the same story.
