That was a fantastic episode

Another anthology style outside of the series arc? It was good though.
Anyone else notice the episode descriptions this season? “I was legitimately scared watching this”.

Personally, I'm having a hard time with this season. Honestly not into the one-off non-cast episodes, sorry

last episode was wonderful, challenging, smart, weird, polemic. I love it.

Also, kinda cool that these weird sort of earn dreams have that hotel guy in common. He was one of the dudes in the boat in ep 1.

Zazie is a guest on Maron.

Nice to see a funny episode driven by the main three characters (sorry Van) with a touch of Atlanta surrealism.

I liked this last one, about the phone. Best episode of the series so far. Had me actually laughing at parts.

Did Socks steal the phone? Or did he kill the guy that stole the phone but realized that if he gave it to Al they'd know?

Apparently this whole season is set up as a fairy tale around a certain theme: White people/Black people receiving the karma of their racial ancestors.

Looks like next week’s ep is a continuation of sorts of this week’s, with Van in the role of the accused, and a White woman being the accuser.

yeah, i saw the teaser and it seemed fun. They captioned it with something like ¨somebody is gonna get mad with this one¨ so im really looking forward to it.

The Paperboi plot line in particular was great satire.

Another anthology episode.
This season certainly seems to have less of a buzz.

Last episode was funny, sad and beautiful.

I feel like a lot of these "prestige" shows lose some buzz after 1-2 seasons.

We're an episode behind. REALLY liked the John Galliano episode. Thought Paper Boi's exchange at the end of the episode with "writer/activist/foodie" Khalil was awesome. "Why would a company invest in their own demise? That's why I started my own social venture." Just a great bit of writing that distilled the whole episode down to its essence. And then Darius's subplot with the jollof rice and the White food truck girl was excellent too.

I'm liking this season more than the last one (which I liked very much). It's not as immediately tantalizing, but the episodes offer me a lot more to chew on upon further reflection.

yeah, i agree. These episodes have a lot to unpack.

Unexpected cameo in that last one. First half was kinda meandering but I liked the episode overall by time it finished.
Next week’s looks to be another anthology episode.
