Saw the trailer again last night during the Olypmics. My wife LOVED the trailer too. First thing she said was, "I'm so fucking glad they're giving Amy Adams something to actually do again. She's amazing."

As a fan of the film genre, I am super fucking excited for this. As a lover of the original short story, I am super disappointed in this already. I can't recommend that story, and the entire collection of Chiang's, highly enough.

Yea, it looks like a pretty blatant combo of Chiang and Contact, but the execution looks A+, so I'm still in.
